NEW: Length Retention Littles Lab [WORKSHOP]

Give your child the gift of knowing their curls early! This Lab is all about building confidence and real know-how together, so caring for their curls feels natural — not like a chore.

Length Retention Littles Lab is an intimate, hands-on workshop for you and your curlfriend-in-training (ages 8+) to learn together, led by Allison Shimamoto — founder of Haiama Beauty, 15-year natural, and the woman behind Philadelphia’s award-winning organic curl care line.

This isn’t a drop-off class — every child must be accompanied by a participating adult. We’re learning the routine side by side, so you all can keep building on it together at home!

You’ll both leave with a wash day plan made for the two of you — fit to their curl pattern, their age, and your real life. Not some generic routine off the internet.

What’s included:

• A hands-on workshop covering the basics of length retention, built for kids and the adults guiding them
• Curl type and porosity basics — explained simply, so you both understand what their curls actually need
• A simple wash day plan you can follow together at home
• A live twist-out (or age-appropriate styling) demo plus hands-on practice for both of you
• The fundamentals of caring for kids’ curls — what supports healthy growth and length retention
