Your scalp is the canvas for growth and healthy strands. Plus, taking time to massage and care for your scalp is one of our favorite acts of selfceare. We’ve crafted a routine that’s perfect for you and the whole family. We use these 5 simple steps to keep our scalp healthy:
1. Cleanse
Regularly wash with a gentle shampoo to banish dirt, oil, and product buildup. Clean scalp, happy hair. Wash weekly or no more than 2x a week for wash-and-go styles.
2. Exfoliate
Scrub away dead skin cells and unclog hair follicles. A clean slate for healthy growth. Use an exfoliating cleansing shampoo, or a shampoo brush (e.g., silicone) every 2-3 weeks.
3. Moisturize
Hydrate to prevent dryness and flakiness with a nourishing conditioner and leave-in conditioner every time you wash, like our Shine + Moisture Mask. Say goodbye to dryness and hello to balance.
4. Massage

5. Hands-Off
Our hands and fingernails are full of bacteria and other nasties. Resist the urge to scratch with nails, stick to the pads of the fingers if you must. But it’s best to keep hands away.
