The C+K cream has three unique butters that each have a variety of good fats to protect your strands and keep moisture in your hair. The butters are rich in vitamin E and polyphenols, which act as antioxidants to protect your hair from pollution and toxins. Cupuacu butter is from the Amazonian rain forest and is 161% more moisturizing than shea butter.1 Kokum butter is commonly used in Ayurvedic hair care, can absorb UV light, and prevents the breakdown of elastase and hyaluronic acid which keeps your strands strong and bouncy.2 Cocoa butter has plenty of antioxidants and fatty acids to keep your hair healthy.3 The C+K cream has a great mix of lightweight oils which makes it a wonderful option for people with fine hair. The oil blend is rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and has antimicrobial properties to keep dandruff at bay. Jojoba oil and baobab oil both mimic hair sebum which is oil that is naturally present on the scalp.3,5,6 Baobab seeds contain phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, sodium, iron, manganese, lysine, thiamine, and calcium.7 Argan oil helps improve the elasticity of hair. Grapeseed oil has more vitamin E than olive oil.8 Sweet almond oil is filled with B vitamins, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and zinc.9 Micronutrients such as vitamins and trace minerals contribute to normal hair growth.10 The C+K cream is infused with basil and bergamot essential oils which will give your hair with a soothing earthy scent. The essential oil blend has antimicrobial properties.11,12 **Aloe vera gel ** is another key ingredient and it is great for moisture retention, filled with amino acids, and vitamins such as vitamin B12, vitamin A, B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin E, and folic acid.13 With so many vitamins, luxurious oils, and antioxidants your hair will thank you for the tender loving care with each dab of C+K cream!
